It is true, we have already talked about him, but our Ambassador Francesco Turturiello is a person, even before being a horseman, so unique that we did could not resist and after interviewing him by phone we went to see him in person, where the dream in the drawer and the life project of which he had spoken to us about are taking shape…
So, we landed in Basiano, within the province of Milan, where Francesco and his wife Linda Bratomi, an international jumper, warmly welcomed us in their stable and made us feel immediately “at home”. It was a wonderful day, full of constructive and fun moments, but above all characterized by the shared vision of a single goal: the 360 health and well-being of our beloved horse friends
From the very first words Francesco Turturiello conveys professionalism and transparency. Listening the perception of how much he is fond of his horses, and how he is grateful to them, is tangible. From the origins of the collaboration with Unika and the professional and personal relationship with Alberto Maiani, founder and animal nutritionist, to his “typical” day seasoned with some curiosity our ambassador talks about himself just like an open book.
Nowadays, for a successful and long-lasting collaboration to be successful, it must be built on solid foundations: listening to the customers and the effectiveness of the product are essential elements. During our visit to the stables of Francesco and Linda we were able to experience the results of our partnership and the satisfaction of those who daily entrust a beautiful slice of the welfare of their horses to Unika. A result that is really priceless especially at a time like this when now (and rightly) animal welfare, especially in sports, is constantly in the spotlight.
From feed to gels, through to supplements, everything in the stables of Francesco and Linda contributes to the achievement of maximum comfort for their beloved horses. Among the favourite products are the Comfort Wrap (zinc oxide bandages for the limbs with a draining action) – protagonists among other things in the video interview of a cute anecdote – and the Fortion 200 (supplement for muscle support). for the daily management of horses, in the pre, during and post-race, it is important not to leave anything to chance and the words of Francesco remind us well.
A life dedicated to riding and full of races, each with its own importance; some really special that have left in Francesco intense memories and emotions, such as his first Nations Cup and the World Cup stage in Oslo. Francesco also told our cameras what a fundamental role horse riding has always played in its existence, and how he fought until today to build a life in which his greatest passion coincided with his work. In this long journey a special mention was due to his better half Linda: a real support and, as he himself told us, “The person who changed my life (…) without whom I would not be here to talk to you“.
