The warm season is upon us and for many riders it is time to take the clipper in hand. The long and thick coat grown during the winter can be difficult to manage, especially for racing horses. However, we must not forget that the hair <\/strong>of a horse represents a natural form of defence<\/strong> not only against the cold, but also against possible external dangers such as Culicoides<\/strong>, small flies whose bites are responsible for Recurrent Summer Dermatitis (also known as RDEE)<\/strong>.
